  1. Prepare for you Robo en la noche evaluación:
    1. Speaking part - Make your drawings and practice saying it in class with a partner. You will be doing this in TASC on Thursday or Friday.
    2. Written part - Write a complete first draft. I will collect it on Thursday, grade it, give feedback, and you will have the opportunity to fix any mistakes it over the weekend. If there is evidence of Google Translate, you will automatically lose 20 points and you will have to rewrite the whole thing in TASC.
  2. Watch the movie Río in Spanish with Spanish subtiles.
    1. Watch 35 minutes per day. So start the film at 9:40ish each day.
    2. Write down vocabulary and/or phrases that you know and some that you learned and/or want to know.
    3. Login for computer = worldlang and Password = wlstudent

  • Read the description of the evaluación oral on page 1 in the new packet. Translate the sentences on that page. Make sure you write them in the "I" form (even though it says "you")
  • Work on your Tarea Semanal. Cien Latinos has been a popular show to watch. YouTube it if you are interested. 
  • If there is extra time, do some of the other 5B Quizlet on the Tarea Diaria page: irregular preterite and more irregular preterite.

  1. Write 6-8 sentences about an imaginary (or real) disaster that happened. Include new vocabluary. Use the imperfect and the preterite. This will be what you will say for la parte oral of the test, so keep it simple. Try to include the following:
    1. What the disaster was
    2. Where it was
    3. Optional: What time it was when it happened
    4. What people were doing when the disaster ocurred
    5. How people were (scared, probably)
    6. What people did (ran, yelled, helped, etc.)
    7. What happened during the disaster
